UNITE STRUCTURAL TEAM

We have a very innovative, dynamic, and experienced team of Engineers and Drafting Persons full time in our office.  They can understand clearly the requirement of the client and give safe and economic solution to any Structural Engineering problem in hand, through the consultation of senior engineers attached to the office. Our team is very friendly and customer oriented. They give their full effort to finish the work to the best quality within the agreed period of time. All local government offices specially around Kandy are aware about the quality of work done by UNITE STRUCTURAL.  As the name implies UNITE STRUCTURAL is a family working together. They are aware of the responsibility of each member and the need of TEAM WORK.  

CHAIRMAN 

Eng. (Dr.) Udaya Dissanayake: Chartered Engineer (M-3902)
B.Sc.Eng., Ph.D. (Sheffied), C.Eng., MIE(SL), MSSE(SL).

Eng. (Dr) Udaya Dissanayake is a Structural Engineer specialized in the area of design of reinforced concrete and steel framed buildings and bridges. He has obtained a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1990 and a PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 1996. His name is included in the Directory of Structural Engineers prepared by IESL for the UDA, as qualified to design and check High Rise Buildings with any number of floors in Sri Lanka. He is serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Peradeniya since 1997. At present he is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya.

Eng. (Dr.) Kushan Wijesundara
B.Sc.Eng., M.Sc.Eng.(Pavia), Ph.D. (Pavia),

Dr. Kushan Kalmith Wijesundara received his Bachelor Degree specialized in the Science of Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2003 and his MSc and PhD from Centre for Post-Graduate Training and Research in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (ROSE School), University of Pavia, Italy, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He is interested in finite element modeling, analysis and design of structural and mechanical systems for static, wind and earthquake loadings. He has authored more than hundred international journal and conference publications. Furthermore, he has been responsible for coordinating many local and international projects in the finite element modeling and analysis of various structural forms in last few years.
